We are located roughly mid way between the two market towns of Riberac in the Dordogne and Chalais in the Charente. Using for example Michelin map no.75 and starting from Chalais the road linking the two is the D2 as far as Aubeterre and then becomes the D20 to Riberac. Fraisse is not featured on maps of this scale but Chassaignes is and this is just south of Bourg-du-Bost.
By Road
If you are travelling by road I can provide detailed instructions from Calais, which is approx. 480 miles and about 9 hours steady driving. My route goes via Rouen rather than Paris. For a more leisurely journey try the Campanile hotels which feature a superb breakfast bar. Their website is www.campanile.com or tel no. 0207 519 5045
